How are the carries split at running back?

Another question is in the backfield and how the coaching staff splits the carries between Christian McCaffrey and C.J. Anderson.

McCaffrey has dominated most of the touches for with the first team offense over the first two games and has nine rushing attempts for 103 rushing yards, with majority of the yards coming on a 71-yard touchdown run against the Dolphins.

Meanwhile Anderson has 55 rushing yards on 12 attempts with one touchdown from the game against the Bills.

However, with the limited playing time of the first teams, the Panthers haven’t had to worry about splitting the carries to keep the running backs fresh. This game with the offense likely playing into the third quarter should give a good indication on how the touches out of the backfield will be split between the two backs.
