How will the offensive line perform?

This has been a running theme this preseason for the Carolina Panthers and rightfully so. The team has dealt with more than their fair share of injuries and lost their third starter, Matt Kalil, to injury this week.

Kalil’s injury, came after knee injuries to Daryl Williams and Amini Silatolu in training camp earlier this summer.

The depth of this group has been challenged and the coaching staff has had to do some shuffling to put their best starting five out there. This means that Taylor Moton, who was competing for the starting left guard job before replacing Williams at right tackle, is now likely the team’s starting left tackle.

The team promoted Jeremiah Sirles to starting right tackle in place of Moton in practice this week, according to Panthers’ Bryan Strickland.

There is no question that the biggest question is this offensive line and how they perform in likely their only time at extended playing time before the start of the season.
