Defensive Player of the Year

Winner: Darian Roseboro

The big defensive end has a chance to have a special season with the Wolfpack after deciding to return for his senior year. Darian Roseboro decided it was important to fulfill a promise to his father, who passed away last season, to graduate from college.

The Wolfpack will certainly benefit from having a pass rusher like Roseboro in this defense. He has only started two games in his career but is already 15th in school history with 13.5 sacks. That total took a dip last year to only two after registering seven as a sophomore.

However, now that he is a full-time starter at defensive end he has the chance to not only match but surpass that sack total from 2016.
