Offensive Player of the Year

Winner: Ryan Finley

This was an easy choice as quarterback Ryan Finley is the key to this offense and is considered to be a top quarterback prospect in next year’s NFL Draft. ESPN’s Todd McShay even said that he had Finley as the number one QB in this upcoming draft class and he was the most pro-ready.

The NC State quarterback is entering this season with high expectations and rightfully so. He improved last year in completion percentage, passing yards and touchdown to interception ratio.

While Finley did throw only six interceptions, he threw all six in the final five games of the season before the Wolfpack’s bowl game. This is hopefully a trend that will not carry over into 2018.

The expectations are high for Finley but there is no reason to think that he won’t be able to reach them in his final season at NC State.
