Most to Prove

Winner: Antonio Williams

The former Ohio State Buckeye is entering this season with high expectations and is expected to be a key piece to this run game.

Williams transferred to UNC and submitted a request to waive the year of ineligibility. The NCAA approved that waiver and it paved the way for Williams to play this upcoming season.

At 5’11” and 210 pounds, Williams has the frame to be a featured running back in this offense and he is looking for that chance. This is one of the reasons he wanted to leave Ohio State as he didn’t get a chance to showcase his ability.

Now that Michael Carter will miss time at the start of the season due to a fractured wrist, Williams should have plenty of opportunity to show what he is able to.
