Offensive Player of the Year

Winner: Anthony Ratliff-Williams

The quarterback turned wide receiver had a breakout year last season and should surpass all those totals this year. He finished 2017 as the team’s leader in receptions (35), receiving yards (630), average yards per catch (18.0), and receiving touchdowns (6).

Ratliff-Williams is a dynamic playmaker that has incredible speed. Joe Marino at The Draft Network does a great job breaking down what he brings to this team as a wide receiver.

While the Tar Heels have questions at quarterback, a wide receiver like Ratliff-Williams goes a long way in helping whoever is under center be successful. It would not be surprising to see Elliott lean on him for most of the season and Ratliff-Williams should reward him with the increased targets.
