The Carolina Panthers offensive line has been hit hard by injury this summer and the latest injury could really test this group. These are some potential starting offensive lines without Matt Kalil.

For the second day in a row, Carolina Panthers’ left tackle Matt Kalil missed practice. Head coach Ron Rivera said Kalil has been dealing with soreness in his left knee, an issue he has been dealing with since training camp, according to Max Henson of Panthers.com.

If Kalil is forced to miss extended period of time, he would be the third key offensive linemen to go down with injuries this summer. During one of the first practices of training camp, the Panthers lost starting right tackle Daryl Williams who tore his MCL.

A few weeks after Williams, Amini Silatolu, who was competing for the starting left guard position, tore his meniscus during a training camp practice.

So when Rivera was asked about the state of his offensive line, he gave a very honest answer:

"“Absolutely concerned,” Rivera said. “You’ve got three potential starters right now that are missing time. It’s going to be tough. But as coaches, we have to continue to do the best job we can to make sure everybody gets prepared.”"

The question is where do the Panthers go from here if Kalil’s injury is more serious and he is forced to miss extended playing time. We break down the different potential starting offensive lines the team could use to replace Kalil.
