Healthy Nicolas Batum

Last year was clearly a struggle for Nicolas Batum whose season got off track before it really started. Batum suffered a torn ligament in his left elbow in the first preseason game last year. He was able to avoid surgery however he was dealing with pain that was affecting his game after he returned.

He finished with his worst per game averages in points (11.6), rebounds (4.8) and assists (5.5) in his three years with the team last year.

However, fans could see some changes with this starting lineup, including a move for Batum back to small forward. This is a position he primarily played before coming to Charlotte and a move back to small forward could give him a chance to bounce back this year.
