Unselfish Offense

The Spurs have been an offense that emphasized ball movement and unselfish play. This is something that Borrego will try to replicate in Charlotte and if the team executes it well, they should be able to return to the playoffs.

The Spurs have always done a good job of moving the ball around and is one of the reasons they have been so successful. Since 2010-11, they have finished in the Top 10 of assists per game every year except one, which came last year.

As for the Hornets, they were one of the higher scoring offenses, finishing 10th in points scored per game (108.2) however they ranked 24th in assists per game (21.6). This is something that Borrego will focus on, and certainly look to Parker to help but will be on another player further down this list to be the driving force.
