Tony Parker’s Playoff Streak

The Charlotte Hornets’ big free agent signing this offseason was point guard Tony Parker. The 17-year veteran spent his entire career with the San Antonio Spurs and knows Borrego well.

The one thing he doesn’t know though is a season without playoffs. Since he was drafted by the Spurs in 2001, Parker has made the playoffs every year including four NBA Championships.

While Parker may not be able to play at the All-Star level he did earlier in his career, he can certainly be a valuable piece to this Hornets’ team. The veteran presence he brings and his experience in this offense should help the learning curve for this team. He should also help with the next reason the Hornets will make the playoffs.
