Donte Jackson
This second cornerback position has been one of the toughest to find a quality starter during head coach Ron Rivera time with the Panthers. The team has had a long list of players here including Bene Benwikere, Charles Tillman, Daryl Worley and Kevon Seymour.
None of these players have been able to provide long-term stability at the position. However, the early indications are that Donte Jackson could be that guy.
The third-round draft pick has had a great training camp, and recently drew praise from Rivera.
The coaching staff was forced to start both Jackson and Kevon Seymour against the Bills due to a groin injury suffered by Bradberry. However, Bradberry returned to practice and should be able to play tonight. If Jackson plays well, he should be in line to start Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys.
