Breakout Player

Winner: Noah Gray

The one player that will be the X-Factor for this Duke football offense will be tight end Noah Gray. It would not be surprising to see the sophomore become one of the favorite targets of Daniel Jones.

In limited action last year, Gray proved he knew how to find the endzone as he had only five receptions but two of them went for touchdowns. He also had a touchdown in the scrimmage over the weekend.

As Wiseman noted, Gray will be a part of this passing attack. The threat of Gray in the middle of the field should open up the passing game on the outside as well as help open up the run game for Brown.

It would not be surprising if Gray finished the year leading the Duke football team in receiving touchdowns this year.
