X-Factor

Winner: Jake Bobo

The X-Factor for this team will be wide receiver Jake Bobo. The Blue Devils have three senior wide receivers (Johnathan Lloyd, Chris Taylor, T.J. Rahming) that will likely dominate the top of the depth chart. However, Bobo could be the most talented of this group.

Bobo’s talent was on display in the scrimmage over the weekend. He finished the game with four receptions for 93 yards.

According to Steve Wiseman of the News & Observer, Daniel Jones said about Bobo after the scrimmage:

"“He’s certainly talented,” Jones said. “You all saw today the ability he has to find the ball and make plays. It’s really been fun to watch how quickly he’s improved. I’m just really excited to see what he can do.”"

If he is able to get on the field this year, Jake Bobo could have a major impact on this offense in 2018.
