Charlotte Hornets: Ranking Kemba Walker’s 10 greatest games
Kemba Walker has had some memorable moments as a member of the Charlotte Hornets. We rank his Top 10 games in the NBA.
It is hard to imagine the Charlotte Hornets without point guard Kemba Walker. The team drafted him with the ninth overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft and at the time was the Charlotte Bobcats.
At the time, there was questions of how Walker would perform in the NBA. At 6’1″ and 172 pounds, he was a player who didn’t seem to have a position. He was too small to play shooting guard but didn’t really have that great passing ability teams look for in a point guard.
However, he certainly has proven many wrong and has had a great career in Charlotte, becoming the face of this franchise. Over his seven years in the league he has played in 523 games, averaging 18.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists.
The past three years is when the former UConn Huskie has really started to make an impact in the league and has averaged over 20 points per game each year, including a career high of 23.1 points per game in 2016-2017.
This improvement has earned him recognition throughout the league and he has earned trips to the last two NBA All-Star Games.
The Hornets point guard appears to be entering the prime of his career and will likely add to this list in the coming years, these are his Top 10 games to this point in his career.
