Carolina Panthers: Players on the roster bubble at the close of camp
The Carolina Panthers closed training camp Monday and these are the four players who still have work to do if they hope to make the roster.
The Carolina Panthers have ended their summer in Spartanburg with their final training camp practice on Monday. The team will now head back to Charlotte to finish their preparation for the upcoming season.
Now that training camp is over, and one preseason game is in the books, the coaching staff has begun formulating ideas of which players should and shouldn’t make the 53-man roster. The good news is that the team doesn’t need to get to 53 until after the final preseason game, a rule that was changed the past few years by the NFL.
While training camp is over, there is still plenty of time left for some of these players to change the coaches mind and earn a spot on the roster with their play over the final three preseason games. However, time is running short and they will need to improve their performance in the coming weeks.
These are the four players that are likely on the roster bubble at the end of the Carolina Panthers’ training camp.
