Golden State Warriors (February 25th)

One of the biggest games on the schedule the past few years has been when Steph Curry returns home to play in Charlotte and this year is no different. Curry knows the area well growing up here and playing his college basketball just outside the city at Davidson College.

Last year, when the Warriors came to play in Charlotte, the hometown crowd didn’t get a chance to see Curry play. The former MVP was forced to sit out the game due to an ankle sprain.

While the Hornets hope to be improved from last year, and they did split the series last year, this is still a Warriors team that is considered the best in the league. A team that got even better this offseason with the addition of DeMarcus Cousins.

It is hard to imagine a Hornets win here but at the very least fans will get to see one of the hometown favorites live when Steph Curry steps on the court in the Spectrum Center.
