Washington Wizards (February 22nd)

While the Charlotte Hornets will play the Wizards four times this upcoming season, this will be the first time the Wizards visit the Spectrum Center.

This also means that it will be the first game Dwight Howard will play in Charlotte since the team traded him to Brooklyn this offseason.

The veteran center had one of his best seasons in recent memory with the Hornets and finished the year with 16.6 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. He played 81 games, which was the most he had played in a season since 2009-2010.

Howard though didn’t fit into the style of basketball Borrego and Kupchak wanted to play and decided to trade him to the Nets. The Hornets should expect to get Howard’s best effort and will be determined to leave with a win.
