Carolina Panthers: Stock Report after win over Buffalo Bills
Stock Down: Kevon Seymour
The Panthers kept James Bradberry out of this game so Seymour, along with rookie Donte Jackson, started the game. However, any fan watching the game may not have even realized Jackson was on the field the way the Bills targeted Seymour.
The first three plays for the Bills were thrown in Seymour’s direction and it resulted in a defensive pass interference, a completion to Andre Roberts and a completion to Kelvin Benjamin. Later in the drive, both touchdowns catches, one called back for pass interference on Rod Streater and a touchdown that stood for Kelvin Benjamin, both went in Seymour’s direction.
Seymour has been in a competition with Jackson for the starting job opposite Bradberry. However, after this game don’t be surprised to see Jackson line up across from Bradberry, if he plays, in the second preseason game against the Miami Dolphins.
