Stock Up: D.J. Moore

There may not have been a player who had fans more excited coming out of that first preseason game than D.J. Moore. The rookie was the Panthers first round pick and while it is still incredibly early in his career, fans saw why he was drafted as high as he was.

He finished the game leading the Panthers in receptions and receiving yards with four receptions and 75 receiving yards.

The thing that stood out the most was what Moore was able to do once he got the ball in his hands. He was incredibly shifty, making defenders miss and fought for every yard. This is the kind of determination that has been missing at this position since Steve Smith left.

The path to the starting lineup is tough for Moore with veterans like Devin Funchess, Torrey Smith and Jarius Wright. However, with performances like this it will be even tougher for the coaching staff to keep him off the field.
