Final 10 games for Hornets are tough

If the Charlotte Hornets are in playoff contention at the end of the season, they will have a tough time staying there with the end of their regular season schedule.

The Hornets play seven of their final 10 games on the road and will be facing a number of great teams in the NBA. They start this stretch with a game in Toronto before returning home to face the San Antonio Spurs.

After this game against the Spurs, they head out on the road for their last west coast trip with games against the Lakers, Warriors, Jazz and Pelicans. They then return home to face the Raptors.

The good news is that the final three games are all winnable with road games against the Pistons, Cavs before returning home to face the Orlando Magic.

While every team NBA plays 82 games, how those games shake out could play a role in a team’s success. The Hornets certainly have some tough stretches and depending on how they play will determine if they make the playoffs.
