Hornets rack up frequent flyer miles in January

The month of January will be tough for the Charlotte Hornets as they have 10 of their 14 games on the road.

The toughest part is not only the number of road games but the West Coast trip to start the month with stops against the Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, L.A. Clippers, Portland Trailblazers, Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs. These six games stretch from January 2nd to January 14th.

This will no doubt be the toughest road trip for the Hornets however the good news is that they do avoid most of the powerhouse teams in the Western Conference with this trip. It would not be surprising if they finished 3-3 over this stretch.
