Bills planned on targeting Kevon Seymour
There is no question that the Buffalo Bills entered this preseason game wanting to achieve two things: get the ball out of Nathan Peterman’s hands fast and throw in Kevon Seymour direction.
The Bills started the game with their first three pass attempts towards Seymour resulting in a defensive pass interference and completions to Andre Holmes and Kelvin Benjamin.
Later in the drive, Peterman connected with Rod Streater on a touchdown that was called back for offensive pass interference. However, a few plays later Peterman did end up connecting with Benjamin for the touchdown.
This cornerback job opposite James Bradberry was a big question entering training camp. While it is a limited sample size, it wouldn’t be surprising to see opposing offenses use a similar gameplan this season. It will be up to Seymour or rookie Donte Jackson to step up in this role.
