Which cornerback performs better: Kevon Seymour or Donte Jackson?

Another key training camp battle is for the starting cornerback job opposite James Bradberry. This was expected to be a three-man race, however Ross Cockrell suffered a broken leg and will miss the entire 2018 season.

This means that the battle is now between veteran Kevon Seymour and third-round draft pick Donte Jackson. On the Carolina Panthers’ first depth chart, it was actually Seymour who was listed as the starter.

However, the rookie has really been impressing during training camp and Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer tweeted this last week.

If Jackson has a strong game against the Buffalo Bills, expect to see him as the starter against the Miami Dolphins the following week.
