How will the offensive line perform and who starts at left guard?

One of the big questions entering this year will be how well will this offensive line perform? The team lost starting left guard Andrew Norwell in free agency and to find his replacement is one of the key training camp battles this summer.

The team listed Amini Silatolu as the starter on their first ‘unofficial’ depth chart, with free agent signing Jeremiah Sirles as the backup. The performance of these two players will be worth noting against the Bills.

However, he won’t be the only new starter as the team lost Daryl Williams early in training camp. The starting right tackle suffered a torn MCL and is expected to miss a significant amount of time. He has been replaced by second-year tackle Taylor Moton, who is in line to get his first consistent playing time of his NFL career.

The other question is at left tackle and whether or not Matt Kalil can improve on a lackluster first year with the Panthers.

The fact that this team has as many uncertainties as they do has to be a concern for Norv Turner and this offense. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the starters stay in longer than normal as they try to find a rhythm in live game action.
