Sage Surratt

2017 stats: N/A

This will be the first season for the redshirt freshman at the collegiate level. However, he is entering this year with high expectations, especially from his head coach Dave Clawson.

Surratt was one of the top basketball players coming out of high school, but decided to focus his concentration on football. He wasn’t a slouch in football by any means, and is the state record holder in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns and was named North Carolina A.P. Offensive Player of the Year in 2016.

The redshirt freshman had a strong performance in the Spring Game with six receptions for 106 receiving yards. He will likely be a key contributor in this offense and help make up for the lost production with the departures of Hines and Serigne.

2018 stats prediction: 40 receptions, 500 receiving yards, 4 touchdowns
