The Wake Forest football team had one of the best offenses in the ACC last year. This was due in part to an excellent group of wide receivers. We break down the position and predict what each of the top wide receivers stats will be in 2018.

Last year, this offense for Wake Forest Football finished second in the ACC, averaging 465.8 yards per game. This was due in large part to their passing attack, a group that finished second in the conference with 3,599 total passing yards.

The Demon Deacons enter 2018 with one of the deepest wide receiver groups in the ACC and there is optimism that they could actually perform better than last year. The team has three of their top four wide receivers returning, with Tabari Hines going to the Oregon Ducks as a graduate transfer.

The Demon Deacons have a player, Sage Surratt, to replace Hines that head coach Dave Clawson is excited about and he believes the redshirt freshman could have a breakout year.

The key to this group though will be Greg Dortch, the redshirt sophomore who led the team last year in receiving yards and tied for receiving touchdowns. However, Dortch was able to accomplish this in eight games after suffering an injury against the Louisville Cardinals.

The biggest question mark, and the one that will have the most impact, is how will the quarterback position perform with the departure of John Wolford? The team was expecting Kendall Hinton to be that replacement, however he has been suspended for the first three games for violating team rules.

This is our prediction for how the top wide receivers on the Wake Forest football will perform in 2018.
