Tight End

Starter: Greg Olsen

Bench: Ian Thomas, Chris Manhertz

The Panthers had some changes at this position with Ed Dickson leaving in free agency and the team drafting Ian Thomas in the fourth round. The team also has some questions with Chris Manhertz not passing his physical and signing undrafted rookie Cam Sergine, per ESPN’s David Newton.

Sergine is likely just signed for reps during training camp and preseason and Manhertz, if he is healthy, will be the third tight end on this team.

However, most of the production will come from one of the best tight ends in the game, Greg Olsen. The former Pro Bowl tight end missed most of last season due to a foot injury. However, he is fully recovered and will be a big addition to this offense in 2018.
