Punter: Michael Palardy

Long Snapper: J.J. Jansen

This group is the one unit that saw no changes this offseason. The team was able to bring back placekicker Graham Gano on a four-year deal this offseason after having a bounce back year in 2017.

Meanwhile, Michael Palardy signed his exclusive rights tender and returns as the team’s starting punter. He joined the Panthers during the 2016 season when Andy Lee was injured and eventually won the training camp battle the following year to become the team’s primary punter.

However, the player with the most tenure in this group is long snapper J.J. Jansen. He will be entering his 11th season with the Carolina Panthers and is one of the better players in the NFL at his position.
