These are the four players on the roster bubble for the Carolina Panthers heading into training camp.

The Carolina Panthers will be opening training camp in less than a week and will begin their preparation for the 2018 season. The coaching staff will begin evaluating the roster and find the 53 best players in this group.

A player could end up being on the roster bubble for a number of reasons and the Panthers may be forced to cut some quality players. One of the reasons is salary cap reasons and players with inflated salaries could be cut by the end of camp. According to Spotrac, the Panthers have just under $2.5 million available under the salary cap. If some of these players were cut, it would give them more cap space and possibly bring in a free agent, or a player cut by another team, that could help this team at other positions.

The Panthers this offseason has done a good job of adding quality depth at key positions. Since this team is only able to carry 53 players, the way they construct the roster means some of these players could be cut since they are only able to have a certain number at the position.

Entering training camp, these are the players that are on the roster bubble and depending on their performance over the next month will determine if they will be in a Panthers uniform when they take the field against the Dallas Cowboys.
