Week 11: vs. North Carolina

If Duke gets past Miami, they will face the UNC Tar Heels the next week in their final divisional game of the season. While this rivalry may not be as storied as the basketball one between these two schools, the battle for the Victory Bell could be pivotal for the Blue Devils’ chances to making it to the ACC Championship Game.

The Blue Devils have won the last two contests between these schools and will have their sights on making it three.

The Tar Heels enter the year with a quarterback competition between Chaz Surratt and Nathan Elliott. Depending on if the team is able to get stability at the position will play a major role in the Tar Heels success in 2018.

If Duke is able to win this game, and the previous week against Miami, they have to like their chances to reaching Charlotte. However, the game the following week does not get any easier for the Blue Devils.
