Week 10: at Miami

While there is a big cap from the first game of the season until now, the game that has an increase in importance doesn’t take place until Week 10 when the Blue Devils travel to Miami to face the Hurricanes. The fact they are facing each other this late in the season, this is a game that could end up deciding the division.

The Hurricanes are coming off an impressive season in Mark Richt’s second season as their head coach. However, it did end on a down note that included losses in the ACC Championship Game and the Orange Bowl. This is a group that is likely determined to return to the ACC Championship Game and prove last year’s poor performance was a fluke.

Meanwhile, David Cutcliffe will be looking for his first win against Richt as head coach of the Hurricanes although the two coaches know each other well from their SEC days. This divisional matchup will be key and could decide who earns a trip to the ACC Championship Game.
