The Carolina Panthers will be opening training camp at the end of July and over the next month these are the key position battles worth watching.

At the end of July, the Carolina Panthers will be heading south to Wofford College to open their training camp ahead of the 2018 season. They will be heading down to Spartanburg with plenty of questions that will need to be answered before they step on the field against the Dallas Cowboys.

These next few weeks will be time for players to compete for their place on the roster and in this starting lineup. Their performances in practice in preseason games will help the coaching staff make their decisions at a number of key positions. There is no question that some of these decisions will be tougher than others based on the competition.

One key position head coach Ron Rivera will be watching closely is at cornerback opposite James Bradberry. The team traded last year’s starter, Daryl Worley, to the Philadelphia Eagles. However, they did bring in competition, through free agency and the NFL Draft, and this will likely be one of the fiercest competitions this training camp.

These are the top position battles worth watching for the Carolina Panthers during the upcoming training camp.
