Week 8: at Florida State

For the second year in a row, the Demon Deacons will have to play both Clemson and Florida State back to back. However, unlike last year Wake Forest will play Clemson first before traveling to play Florida State. They also have one advantage this year that they didn’t last year: a bye week.

This should play a huge role as this will not be the same Seminoles program they have faced in the past with Jimbo Fisher no longer with the program and replaced by Willie Taggart. A win against Florida State will go a long way in putting them in contention for a spot in the ACC Championship game and also end a six-game losing streak to the Seminoles.
