Week 13: vs. NC State

If the Tar Heels are in contention entering the final week of the season, they will have a big challenge facing them with in-state rival NC State. The Wolfpack have the look of a team on the rise and one that will be trying to avoid a step back. However, they will enter this season with almost an entirely new defense, and one that will be without star pass rusher Bradley Chubb.

Head coach Larry Fedora and the Tar Heels would like nothing better than to cap off the 2018 season with a win in front of their home fans and snap a two game losing streak to the Wolfpack in the process.
