Week 7: vs. Virginia Tech

The Tar Heels two biggest games would likely be considered against the Hurricanes, and this game two weeks later. The good news for them is that they have an off week before and will have two weeks to prepare for the Hokies.

Last season against Virginia Tech was probably the lowest point of a season that was already spiraling down as they fell 59-7 in Blacksburg. However, Virginia Tech lost a few key players on defense, primarily Tremaine and Terrell Edmunds, and the Tar Heels will try to capitalize on that.
