Charlotte Hornets: The Tim Duncan Scenario Guys
- Jayson Tatum, Duke
The more we get into these options, the more it becomes clear that the Hornets would have good choices at one, two, or three in this year’s lottery. It just gets interesting at twelve where the Hornets are likely to hang out.
The last option that we will look at is Tatum. Tatum fills many of the same ideas that Jackson does, just not as completely. He too would allow more scoring from the starting five. Alternatively, he could provide some instant action from the bench. Tatum would be less ready to displace Kidd-Gilchrist than Jackson would be, which is why he is listed last of this group.
Next: The End of the Road This Season
There is the Tim Duncan-esque wish list for the Charlotte Hornets. Remember the Hornets are not in the lottery yet nor have the lottery selections been made. If they somehow become the eighth seed in the East then this will all have been for naught. Yet one can still dream.
