Comments:

The defensive matchups are interesting here. Likely Coach Dean Smith would play Kevin Salvadori big minutes to keep Johnson from being a threat from whichever post position he occupied. Phelps would probably guard Paige, leaving Berry to Donald Williams and making that matchup more important. Rodl could also cause issues with his size off the bench.

The game probably comes down to two matchups. One is when Lynch is forced to guard Johnson and the other is the Reese-Jackson matchup. The winner of that second one will likely determine the game. Fortunately I don’t have to guess here, we can let the simulator do the work.
