  1. The team loses Kennedy Meeks, Isaiah Hicks, Nate Britt, and Stilman White

The team’s seniors are lost. That includes the starting front line and the top backup guard on the roster. The team also loses White, who brought some sanity at times to the team. Meeks and Hicks will test the draft, but they are currently rated as second choices behind Bradley according to NBADraft.net.

  1. Justin Jackson Leaves (most likely)

While the team had a goal of winning a title after coming so close last year, Jackson had a goal for himself – to improve on the things the draft scouts said needed improving. That primarily had to do with his shooting. Jackson shot much better and with more authority despite his championship game showing. He turned into a near 40% three point shooter.

There is also the question of what is there left for Jackson to do? He has a national title, ACC Player of the Year, 1st team All-America, a lottery draft grade, and a wave of newfound supporters. Does he really come back to try for National Player of the Year? His only reason for coming back would be some pact between him, Joel Berry, and Theo Pinson that probably doesn’t exist.
