Calais Campbell

This would be another example of spending big to take advantage of Newton’s window. Campbell is exactly the kind of dual purpose defensive end that the Panthers really don’t have right now. He could even be moved inside in pass rush situations for more flexibility.

The problem with Campbell will probably be the price tag. His current team, the Arizona Cardinals, would be nuts to not bring him back. Other teams will also make a push for him since he has experience in both 4-3 and 3-4 defensive setups.

Russell Okung

The Panthers do need another tackle, but I would be more excited about Okung if he was the Seattle version of himself rather than the version that Denver let go after one year. However the Panthers do need a left tackle, and Okung is probably the most notable one available on the market.
