Carolina Panthers: List of Potential Free Agent Targets

Darrelle Revis

The New York Jets walked away from Revis after he seemed to lose a step last year. He also got in some off field trouble that might have hastened him out of the door. The Panthers interest in Revis would probably come in moving him to safety. The issues would be whether Revis wants to change positions and whether the Panthers would sign anybody with recent off field troubles after the Greg Hardy situation.

This would be a sign that the team is not quite 100% comfortable with Tre Boston at safety. If the Revis experiment failed then Boston could move back into the starting spot and not much would have been lost in the mean time.
