1. Punter – Brad Nortman (2012-5)

The Panthers have had a pretty good history at punter. In the early days, the Panthers had Ken Walter who moved on the New England Patriots. The Panthers also muscled up Todd Sauerbrun and the long-time consistent guy Jason Baker.

If you were to pick the best leg, it would be Sauerbrun. You would also to deal with the PEDs though. And the attitude, but some people might like a fiery punter.

If you are one of these people that has to see long term performance, you probably go with Baker.

However Nortman already owns the best punting average (2013) in Panthers history. He also owns the fifth and sixth best punting years too. So that elevates him a little. He better not slack off. I’ll take Nortman here for now.

Nortman signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2016 off season for big money. Shame really.
