No. 9 UNC-Chapel Hill: 18-3 (6-1 ACC)

The Tar Heels have done nothing short of bolstering its tournament resume and establishing its dominance in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Only No. 6 Florida State has a better mark in the league with an 18-2 overall record. The team’s only miscue against ACC opponents came on the road against Georgia Tech, but UNC has since continued to propel its high-tempo offense to prominence.

The Heels’ non-conference slate also gave them top-quality resume buffer, especially after winning against now-No. 15 Wisconsin. Even its other two losses came from a pair of the country’s top schools: No. 4 Kentucky and then-No. 13 Indiana. With a win over the Seminoles already under Carolina’s belt, the ACC is Roy Williams and company’s league to lose at this point.
