James Johnson, Miami Heat, power forward, #16

Former Demon Deacon James Johnson may have a found a home by taking his talents to South Beach. Johnson has been playing a great deal for the Heat. He is a part of their regular rotation.

In November, he scored in double figures nine times. He averaged 25.5 minutes of playing time last month. Moreover, he averaged 10.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in November while shooting 47.5% from the field, 34.7% from three-point range and 78% from the free throw line.

The departure of Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh (on roster but not playing due to medical condition) left playing time for anyone willing to step up.

Seems as though Johnson has answered that call for the Miami Heat. Expect more from next month and thereafter.
