J.J. Redick, Los Angeles Clippers, shooting guard, #4

J.J. Redick has lived up to expectations during the past several seasons. Currently, he ranks third in scoring (15.2 points per game) for the Los Angeles Clippers. In addition, he has the 10th most three-point field goals in the NBA (45).

During November 2016, he averaged 16.1 points per game while shooting around 50% from the field and three-point range. Redick has positioned himself as one of the best shooters in the league. Moreover, he is the third leg to the Clippers’ Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

Redick’s shooting makes opponents respect the perimeter, which opens up the low post for Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. The Clippers missing piece is a small forward who meshes well with the other players. The Clippers have too many scorers and one-on-one players on their roster.

When the Clippers faced the Sacramento Kings, Redick was “redick-ulous” (ridiculous) from three-point range. He hit seven threes against the en route to 29 points.
