James Johnson, Miami Heat, power forward #16

James Johnson has been a journeyman in the NBA as well. Some people view this as a negative whereas I do not. His services are desired by a team and he makes a four million dollars this season. There are a million reasons why there is nothing wrong with his career choice.

Johnson stands at 6’9″ 250 lbs. He brings a great deal of versatility to the Miami Heat. He can play and guard the small forward, power forward and center positions.

Likewise, he is capable of filling in as a starter. Currently, he plays behind Justise Winslow (Duke Blue Devils) at the small forward position on the Miami Heat’s depth chart.

Johnson started this season with an 11-point, six rebound outing in a 108-96 win against the Orlando Magic. Johnson was connected on four of his eight field goals, including making two of his four three-point shots

Currently, he averages 3.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
