While life has continued to be good for NC State Wolfpack quarterbacks, the state has a whole seems less likely to break out as a quarterback power.

The NC State Wolfpack have me reevaluating things at the moment. Two years ago this coming June, I suggested that the combination of college coaching and a few stars could turn the state of North Carolina into a quarterback. Let’s see how or if that has progressed.

First the list of active North Carolina quarterbacks:

Jacoby Brissett – NC State – New England Patriots

Mike Glennon – NC State – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Thad Lewis – Duke – San Francisco 49ers

Sean Renfree – Duke – Atlanta Falcons

Philip Rivers – NC State – San Diego Chargers

Russell Wilson – NC State – Seattle Seahawks

This list does not include undrafted free agents or camp invitees. T.J. Yates is a current free agent. Marquise Williams will be in Vikings camp. Shane Carden took his game to Stuttgart. It seems that there are only two real winners right now and the factory movement is on hold.
