Charlotte Hornets: Shopping for Centers?

2015-16 stats: 15 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.5 blocks per game

Horford fits the mold of a blue collar guy who is big on consistency. He does not have the shot blocking of Whiteside but is just as effective a defender as Drummond. Horford is also potentially cheaper since he will be coming off of injury and risk of future injury could depress his value.

Horford is also an example of weakening your enemy to make yourself stronger. The Atlanta Hawks owned the Hornets last season. While Horford is not the entire reason for that, it stands that the playing field would be different with Horford in purple and teal.

Again the big negative here would be injury risk. The Hornets know how that works all too well with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
