21. Center – Ryan Kalil (2007-)

Kalil likely will not find anything unusual lining up next to Wharton and Gross. He deserves it to. Kalil is a four time Pro Bowler and All-Pro in 2013. He too was there for the double thousand yard rusher season. He was a steal to get in the second round after playing for the Pete Carroll USC teams that won Championships.

Kalil’s time at Carolina spans the end of the Jake Delhomme era into the current Cam Newton one. In that time, Kalil has had to hike the ball to four different starting quarterbacks (not counting Derek Anderson). He was part of the good o-lines of the late 2000s and he had to be the rock on which the current offensive line is built.

Other notable Panthers centers would include Garcia and Jeff Mitchell, who captained the line through the 2003 Super Bowl runner-up performance. Mitchell was key to opening those holes in the middle of the defense for Stephen Davis.
