Outside of the paint, the Hornets will need to find consistent offense. Removing Jefferson from the paint area now opens that up for driving and striking. That kind of game should be just the kind of game that Kemba Walker has been waiting to play.
In the current system, Walker is asked to play more as a shooter. Yes, Walker still has big games and takes on the role as the crunch time shooter. Yet his attacking game, which he used so well at UConn, was under used. Since the Hornets need points and someone to set up the rest of the offense, expect to see Walker going to the lane whenever he can while Jefferson is out.
