1. Hold the Ball

Denver may be the team of Peyton Manning, but on Saturday it was the team of running backs that made the real difference. C.J. Anderson ran for more than a hundred yards and a score while Ronnie Hillman added two more scores and sixty more yards.

Manning was accurate too and those completions kept drives moving. In the end the Broncos had controlled the ball for thirty-three minutes, limiting the amount of time that Rodgers was on the field.

This is something that the Panthers can do too. They can attack the inside of the three-four defensive front with Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert. Get Cam Newton to capitalize on third downs and the Panthers can take big chunks of time off the clock.
